The Hardwood Research Group conducts research on issues pertaining to the utilization and management of the hardwood forest resource. Scientific research and various projects have dealt with topics ranging from bucking optimization of hardwood trees, to price and length criteria relationships in optimizing product output, to hardwood defect documentation, and to mensuration of the financial productivity returns of training.
