Welcome to the Hardwood Bucking Site for Michigan Technological University.
Some years ago, an idea was formed by a number of members of Michigan Technological University's School of Forestry and Wood Products. That idea was to develop a way to easily, effectively train individuals to improve their bucking performance. This was done initially with the development of computer software. Today, buckers are able to improve their skills by using the software, playing a hardwood bucking game, and by participating in hands-on training sessions.
Our team has grown through the years, but our goal has remained the same. We strive to aid you in your search for information about hardwood bucking. This website has been put together in the hopes of assisting you in your journey to better log bucking. Please feel free to utilize the many tools of this site to improve your knowledge and skills. If, at some point along the way, you find yourself in need of more assistance, do not hesitate to call on us. We are all partners in this quest.
Enjoy, and good luck in your journey to better bucking!
